Where do the bids come from?
Three public sources: the Commonwealth's COMMBUYS marketplace (state agencies plus the many towns, school districts and housing authorities that post there), SAM.gov for federal work in New England, and the bid pages of 14 Massachusetts cities and towns we check directly: Beverly, Billerica, Chicopee, Fitchburg, Framingham, Leominster, Lowell, Marlborough, Methuen, Natick, Plymouth, Salem, Shrewsbury, Taunton. We're adding more town pages. Some towns post only on their own sites or in the Central Register, so we can't promise every bid in the state yet.
Is this the same as the Central Register?
No. The Central Register is the Secretary of the Commonwealth's weekly legal-notice publication, and BidPip doesn't include it. BidPip is an independent alert service that compiles the public sources above into a daily, filtered email.
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
Yes, but you won't be charged until day 15, and you can cancel anytime before then.
Can I change my trades and towns later?
Anytime. Just reply to any alert email or write to us.
